Bethany started out in the entertainment world, majoring in theatre in college and working at a model and talent agency. Upon graduation-- and after seeing how challenging that world can be, especially for women-- Bethany returned to grad school with a desire to be on the helping end of an industry that has often been harsh to so many.

Bethany considers it an honor to hear peoples' stories and help them find freedom and wholeness by meeting them where they are and walking alongside them through life's struggles and situations. She creates a safe and supportive environment for people to share their stories and loves working with a diverse range of clients. She values each person for who they are and where they find themselves in this walk of life.

Bethany has been in private practice in NYC since 2012, and is excited to now add Florida clients into her practice. She specializes in working with youth and adults navigating various aspects of life, particularly those struggling with eating disorders, body dysmorphia, identity, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. Bethany has been in private practice in NYC since 2012, and is excited to now add Florida clients into her practice. She specializes in working with youth and adults navigating various aspects of life, particularly those struggling with eating disorders, body dysmorphia, identity, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. She has gained much of her therapeutic training by working alongside some of the greatest pioneers in the field of Eating Disorders in New York City, and has had additional training through Harvard University and NYU.

Bethany has an integrative therapeutic approach which draws from psychoanalytic training as well as a variety of evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, and EFT. She tailors her approach to each client's unique needs and prioritizes creating a warm and supportive environment for her clients. She often connects them to various resource
Bethany has an integrative therapeutic approach which draws from psychoanalytic training as well as a variety of evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, and EFT. She tailors her approach to each client's unique needs and prioritizes creating a warm and supportive environment for her clients. She often connects them to various resources and support systems they made need throughout the process in order to provide the most comprehensive approach to wholeness and well-being. This sometimes includes Registered Dietitians, Psychiatrists and other health care providers, as well as community supports, clergy, and higher levels of care.
Bethany also offers a more faith-based approach to counseling if it is desired.
